By serving Coloradans who have less power, privilege and income, and by prioritizing Coloradans of color, we keep equity at the heart of our work to bring health in reach.
We believe that health should be in reach and our mission is to make that a reality for all Coloradans. To achieve that goal, we strive for each user who visits the The Colorado Health Foundation website to have equal access to the information we provide and find the experience rewarding.
How are we making this happen?
To help us make the Foundation website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and Section 508 as guidelines and standards for this website. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The WCAG guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for our website.
How are we doing?
We're working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realize there are some areas that still need improving.
