PLEASE NOTE: The Colorado Health Foundation transitioned to a new grants management system in spring 2018. If you haven't already, all users - both former and new applicants as well as current grantees - will need to create a new account when accessing the system for the first time by clicking here. Please use Google Chrome as your browser when accessing the grants management system.

Our application process includes several steps you must complete before beginning an application. All applications can be accessed on specific funding pages. Proposals must be received by 5 p.m. on the deadline date. When these dates fall on a holiday or weekend, the deadline will be the next business day. You may submit an application at any time and it will be reviewed at the next grant cycle.

To begin:

  1. Identify funding you are eligible for:
  2. Read the FAQs.
  3. Contact a program officer if you want to discuss your project before beginning the online application process
  4. Begin your application through selected open funding.
  5. Save and submit your application
  6. After applying, we invite you to provide anonymous feedback through GrantAdvisor on how you’ve experienced us as a funder and partner.

We prefer to receive electronic grant applications through our website. Using a series of prompts, the online grant application form will guide you through the submission process in detail. If you would like to see what the application looks like ahead of applying, review the sample standard application.

We often partner with third-party evaluators, contractors and other organizations over the course of our work with applicants and grantees. Your application and its attachments may be shared with these individuals or entities during the review process and grant cycle. All third-party organizations partnering with the Foundation have signed a confidentiality agreement and will not use or share the information for purposes outside of the scope of work specific to the grant application or grant award.
